Broadway Logon Help
Instructions:
-
Enter your Logon ID and
password and press Enter (or click the Logon button).
-
You can create your
personal Logon ID by clicking on the "Create a New Logon ID"
button.
-
Once you have created
your personal Logon ID, it will need to be authorized by church
staff before you can use it to access our Members Area. This
authorization normally takes less than two days.
If you receive a timeout
message on your first action after you sign on:
You likely will
need to enable session cookies in your browser. For
Microsoft Internet Explorer:
-
click on
tools
-
click on
internet options in the drop down list
-
click on the
"Security" tab
-
click on
"Internet" zone (should be the default)
-
click on
"Custom Levels..."
-
scroll down
to "Cookies"
-
select
"enable" for "allow per-session cookies" (stored cookies
are not required)
Notes:
-
You may change your
password by clicking on the "Preferences" link in the footer at
the bottom of any page in the members area after you logon.
-
Protect your identity by
changing your password occasionally.
-
If your password no
longer works, notify the church office immediately and have them
reset your password. Then change the password they assign.
-
We cannot see your
password. We can only reset it to something new and then let you
change this password to something of your choice.
-
Actions taken under your
identity are logged for security and data integrity reasons.
These logs will not be used for any other purposes.
-
We are working on a
privacy policy and we will post it as soon as it is approved.
-
Once you have logged on
from this screen your authorization will be remembered. This
authorization will time out if you are inactive for an extended
period. The time you spend browsing in unprotected areas of this
site or in other Web sites is considered inactive time by our
timeout mechanism.
-
If your authorization
times out and you try to access a page that requires
authorization, you will be vectored back to this page. You may
see "Timeout" flash on your screen for a few seconds during this
process. This is normal behavior.
If you are confused by any
of this, please call me or send me an e-mail (Stu
Childre - 806-795-7011). I need to know what is difficult about
this new stuff so I can try to make it easier for everyone to use.
Thanks in advance.
