(1) Demolition, Building and Maintenance

People with skills in demolition, carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbing knowledge to help in areas such as tearing out carpet, moving furniture, painting walls, ceilings, cabinets, and changing fixtures as the need arises.

Time commitment = two or three times a year

Gifts = Serving, Administration, Giving

Talents = Working with hands

Mission: To keep the church property secure and to keep children's areas safe from aimless wandering by outsiders.

(1) Security during worship

Two people to patrol, vacant floors and parking lots during Bible class and worship. Also, they need to keep all wheelchair ramps accessible.

Time commitment = One month per quarter in teams

(2) Latecomer and emergency assistance

Two men to assist latecomers with directions within the building. They also must be prepared to access 911 in case of any type of emergency.

Time commitment = One month per quarter in teams.

Mission: To communicate to and inform the Broadway church about present, past and future activities of the church.

Women to write articles or help with the organization and content of the monthly women's newsletter known as Philos.

Time commitment = Occasional activity for specific monthly issues.

(2) Tracts

Someone to obtain, update, organize and maintain the tract shelves in front of the office complex

Time commitment = one year; minutes each week in organization

Gifts = Administration

(3) Bulletin Boards

Several people to create, maintain and update the bulletin boards throughout the building.

Time commitment = one year; quarterly updates

Gifts = Service

Talents = Artistic Creativity

(4) Historical Hall

People to update, decorate and maintain the displays found in the historical hall

Time commitment = one year; quarterly updates

Gifts = Service

(5) Archives Room (desired)

Several people with an interest in history to organize and maintain an attractive and useful room to house all of the Broadway archives. Some type of organized cataloging system would need to be developed.

Time commitment = one year; with much time needed in the initial establishment and organization of this room

Talents = Interest in history, Extreme organizational skills
